Mechanism and control of chromosome segregation in yeast. The research in our laboratory is centered on two cellular processes that are of fundamental importance in the eukaryotic cell cycle - chromosome segregation (or mitosis) and cellular morphogenesis (or spatial control of cell growth and division).
