Deborah Parra-Medina
Research Interests
Dr. Parra-Medina is professor of Mexican American and Latina/o Studies at The University of Texas at Austin and Director of the Latino Research Institute. Dr. Parra-Medina’s research and teaching focuses on promoting health, understanding health disparities in heart disease, diabetes and cancer, and community-based interventions among under-served and minority populations, including Latinos.
