Our group is focused on questions surrounding the natural history and treatment of spine conditions. This includes non-operative and surgical management. Recent interests include patient education, outcomes assessment, and care safety.

Comments about previous experiences working with students
As a group, we have worked with pre-meds, medical students and residents interested in orthopaedics, neurosurgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation. In particular, our multidisciplinary group focuses on spine problems. Research opportunities vary from whole project initiation and completion to participation in ongoing work.
