Research Interests

Vision science, attention, motivation, learning, aging, brain anatomy, white matter, computational modelling, neuroinformatics

Pestilli studies the brain and the psychology of individuals from a systems neuroscience perspective, with the aim of understanding how neurons in different brain areas connect together to form networks. Using both experimental and model-based approaches, he combines multiple technologies and computational approaches to study how brain networks determine our vision of the world, our values, and how they motivate our behavior.
