Dr. Hyeun Ah Kang is an Assistant Professor in the Health Outcomes Division at The University of Texas College of Pharmacy. Her current research activities focus on evaluating health care resource utilization, costs, and predictors of clinical and economic outcomes using large real-world databases. Her research interests include sickle cell disease, opioid use, and oncology.

Dr. Kang is a recipient of numerous merit awards including the 2021-2022 American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) New Investigator Award, Best Student Poster Research Presentation at the 2018 and 2019 ISPOR Annual International Meetings, 2019 APhA Academy of Pharmaceutical Research and Science (APRS) Presentation Award, and Abstract Award Winner-Graduate Program at the UT Austin College of Pharmacy 15th Annual Louis C. Littlefield Celebrating Pharmacy Research Excellence Day (2019).
