Research focus: Emergency Medicine

Dr. Bedolla's focus of specialty is executive leadership and culture change at enterprise scale as well as development of specific decision making tools to prevent catastrophic misses in the areas of acute stroke, sepsis, acute coronary syndromes, aortic dissection, necrotizing soft tissue infections, spinal emergencies, and acute injuries. He's a NIH funded researcher in head injury and suicide prevention. He serves as executive leader and risk scientist for the second largest emergency medicine group in the USA, and has served as Chief Medical Officer for Formula 1 and multiple other world elite motorsports. He is extensively published. He serves as PILLARS facilitator for all modules to keep his strong connections to the science of medicine. He has developed multiple curricula and has been consulted by multiple national enterprises and startups. 

He is a full-blooded Longhorn and graduated from UT's Plan II Program.
