Research Interests

Robyn has contributed to UT with research in the following areas: An assessment of the UT food ecosystem, leadership with the student organization, Food Studies, research for the Food Challenge Prize, which she founded and ran for five years, supporting over 80 startups worldwide, and research for her four books published between 2012 and 2020. She has also researched and produced a documentary about fishing communities in Maine and is commencing research about food data and affinage. In partnership with MIT, Google and the Universidad Francisco Marroquini in Guatemala, she has researched global food systems design, future supply chains, food design and marketing. Along with Cornell and Royal Rhodes University, she has created presentation with her research along with other thought leaders in her field.
