Research focus: Family Medicine

Dr. Benold particularly enjoys supervising the residents’ inpatient care team, but his more specific area of expertise is in the performance of a variety of outpatient procedures. He serves as chairman of the department’s curriculum committee, and he is a member of Dell Medical School’s Faculty Senate. He contributes manuscript reviews for the Journal of Family Practice and the Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine. Previously, he was a contributing member of the Residency Research Network of Texas.
