I am a pediatric critical care medicine physician at Dell Children's Medical Center and an assistant professor at Dell Medical School, Department of Pediatrics. My primary research interests are acute kidney injury in critically ill patients and determining factors associated with initiation of and liberation from continuous kidney replacement therapies. I am also working on projects related to deep venous thrombosis prevention in the critically ill pediatric population focusing on methods to reduce the rising incidence of this complication in hospitalized patients.
