Dr. Galloway is now retired. His research interests focused on various clastic depositional systems. He was engaged in long-term synthesis studies of the Cenozoic deposits of the Gulf of Mexico and North Sea basins. His most recent research activity centered around the Gulf Basin Depositional Synthesis Project, an industry-funded research consortium located at the Institute for Geophysics.
