The Great Migration Trilogy

This project is closed. No applications are allowed.

I currently need assistance with background research for my Great Migration trilogy that examines the migration of African Americans to California and its aftermath. I’m currently writing "Gold," the next play in my Great Migration trilogy which is set in 1972 San Francisco at the height of its population. The play examines the lives of Black southern migrants navigating the changes wrought by the Black Power Movement, the Vietnam War, Gay Rights Movement, and the Women’s Liberation Movement.
