Individualizing Care in Pregnancy and Childbirth through Digital Phenotyping

This project is ongoing.

The purpose of the study, Individualizing Care in Pregnancy and Childbirth through Digital Phenotyping, is to develop a digital phenotype of pregnancy by passively monitoring pregnant women using an app on a Smartphone to better understand pregnancy moment-by-moment and focus on changes throughout pregnancy and postpartum. We are looking for someone to help with participant recruitment. Specifically requesting Spanish bilingual students.

Qualifications

• Spanish speaking
• Interest in Women’s Health
• Team-oriented and collaborative working skills
• Ability to work independently
• Willing to travel to multiple locations
• Experience with human subjects research is a bonus

Start date: immediately
Ongoing over the next two years

Duties

Serve as a volunteer student research assistant supporting coordination and implementation of the study.
• Work closely with the Department of Women’s Health Research Assistant and study Principal Investigator
• Actively participate in research meetings
• Recruit and consent participants and complete study visits with participants at clinics
• Participate in data collection, data entry and data organization
• Assist in the specialized clerical and technical duties required for human subjects research
• Perform clinical research tasks including:
- Maintain tracking systems and data collection tools for managing participants,
- Assist with regulatory compliance
