PLAY project

This project is ongoing.

This study examines ethnic-racial identity in young children using a multi-method, cross-sectional data collection plan. Participants are 3- to 7- year old children and their caregivers. Caregivers and children participate in a 2.5 hour assessment visit, in a location of their choice, during which they will 1) complete questionnaires and play-like tasks related to ethnic-racial socialization (ERS) and identity (ERI), and 2) participate in a parent-child play session focused on ERS and ERI.  

Qualifications

basic knowledge of research methods; experience working with children preferred 

Duties

Research assistants will learn standardized assessments, engage in recruitment and conduct data collection.
