SUPERClinic Study - Spanish-Speaking RA

The Burgermaster Lab is conducting an observational pilot study about the relationship between ultra-processed food consumption and maternal-child outcomes. The role of the Spanish-Speaking Recruitment Research Assistant will be to recruit, consent, and conduct baseline data collection of mothers at the Ascension Seton Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) clinic in both English and Spanish. 

Responsibilities: 

  1. Conduct informed consent and research study visits in English and Spanish with sensitivity towards expecting mothers.  
  2. Assist participants with online surveys and ASA24 dietary recalls in the clinic. Offer continued support at home in English and Spanish. 
  3. Contribute to study regulatory documents, enter all required study data on an ongoing basis. 
  4. Report weekly updates to study coordinator and larger study team.  
  5. Other duties as assigned.
