Titanium Dioxide Crystals in the Type 2 Diabetic Pancreas and in the Diseased Brain

This project is ongoing.

The prevalence of 120 ± 70 nm TiO2 crystals in the  T2D pancreas and non-diseased donors are mapped, as is  the prevalence of  these and calcium pxalate dihydrate crystals in the substantia nigra of  Parkinson’s disease donors.
