Website design for Prof. Kirisits's research group

I am looking for a student experienced with web-design to design a website for my research group using the University Blog Service (UBS).  Pay rate is $15/hour.  The skeleton site is here:  https://sites.utexas.edu/kirisits/.  Please contact me (kirisits@utexas.edu) to apply for this job as follows:

  1. Send me an email with the subject "web design for Kirisits Research Group"
  2. Attach your resume, which needs to show your web-design experience.  
  3. In your email, provide the name and email addresses of at least two references.  One of these must be a professor, even if that person does not have firsthand knowledge of your web design skills.

 

Qualifications
  • Have experience with web-design, and be able to provide examples of your work.
  • Be creative and artistic
Project Timeline

Website design is needed ASAP.  The website needs to have key content and go live by November 10, 2023.  (Updates and improvements to the site can be made after this date, if needed.)

Duties

Collect content (e.g., pictures, resumes, GoogleScholar/LinkedIn links, project descriptions) from Prof. Kirisits's research group, and showcase that content in an accessible and maintainable website.
