The Center for Particles and Fields in the Department of university seal Physics of the University of Texas at Austin was created in the Fall of 2006 to support researchers in particle physics, nuclear/relativistic heavy ion physics, and allied fields (such as gravitation) and to foster a collegial environment and to facilitate interaction and communication in areas of common interest.
