Dr. Kutanoglu specializes in operations research and game theory applications in three problem domains: resource allocation and production planning and scheduling (especially as applied to semiconductor manufacturing and wafer fabrication), after-market service parts logistics, and truck-load trucking. He is especially interested in modeling, analysis, and optimization of large-scale inventory management, logistic network design, and scheduling problems.
