Gordon Abner is an assistant professor at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. He received a joint Ph.D. in Public Policy from Indiana University-Bloomington, and his primary research interests are in the areas of employee morale, organizational performance and policy implementation in the public sector. His work has been published in scholarly outlets such as the Review of Public Personnel Administration, Nonprofit Management and Leadership and Public Performance and Management Review. Dr. Abner's work has also been covered in popular outlets including Government Executive, FEDweek and Federal Times.
