Internet-based behavioral activation therapy for adults with aphasia and depression

This project is closed.

The goal of this project is to create an internet-based behavioral activation therapy for adults with aphasia and depression. The therapy will be completed over 10 weeks independently at the participant’s home. We will assess mood daily as well as complete language and cognitive testing before and after therapy. This project will help us determine if this type of therapy is effective in this population and whether addressing depression has an effect on language and cognitive outcomes. Volunteers will learn how to create online therapies, get coding experience, and will be acknowledged in future publications of this work.
