Soft Robot for Congenital Defect Closure in Infants

This project is closed. No applications are allowed.

We are developing a soft robotic device to assist with closing an abdominal congenital defect in infants. The project has a mechatronic prototype and requires extensive testing. Activities include making parts of the soft robot device using a silicon mold, designing and conducting experiments, some simple circuit assembly and testing, some programming in arduino. FEA analysis could also be part of the project. This project will be funded.
