Research interests include similarity and analogy; categorization; decision making and consumer behavior; knowledge representation; the way that motivational factors affect learning, decision making, and cognition more generally. As Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, we look for ways to improve the Longhorn Learning Experience for undergraduates, graduate students, and students in continuing and professional education programs.
